Lighthouse II is being held in conjunction with RYC's Al Henning Regatta and will be held over three days, Friday Aug. 10 - Sunday Aug. 12.
Boats may choose to sail either 2 or 3 days. Those that sail 2 days will be awarded points for the third day based on the average of their on-the-water results.
This year's Lighthouse Regatta will feature an optional starting clinic on Thursday with Robbie Daniel of Red Gear Racing for an additional cost of $50 (payable with your regatta registration fee if you choose to attend). The clinic will begin at 11 AM. We will debrief and have dinner Friday evening at the Chu house at 1400 Valley View Dr. Racine, WI 53405 (map). A $5 donation for dinner would be appreciated.
Note also that a separate three day clinic with Robbie Daniel is available for up to six boats on Monday Aug. 6 - Wednesday Aug. 8. Contact Gary Chu for more information - drgarychu2004@yahoo.com, 262-994-4126.
The RYC restaurant will be open for dinner on Friday night, and on Saturday night the official regatta dinner will take place at the club. These meals are not included in your registration fee and will need to be paid for separately at the club.
Camping is available on the RYC grounds and RVs may use the south lot. Boats may launch off the beach or use the public launch near the south lot. Please remove trailers from the beach asap & park them in the west parking lot.
